EURA Executive Director Gary Leads Delegation to the 5th International Summit on BDS Applications and Holds Strategic Discussions with Malaysian and Chinese Aerospace Representatives

Zhuzhou, China — 15-16 September 2026 — EURA participated in the 5th International Summit on BeiDou Applications, held at the Zhuzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center in Hunan, China.
Under the theme “One World, One BeiDou — Empowering the Globe,” the summit brought together representatives from the aerospace sector, industry experts, research institutions and enterprises to exchange perspectives on the development and international applications of the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS).
Gary, Executive Director of EURA, led a three-member delegation to the summit, where the team participated in a series of discussions and exchanges focused on international cooperation and the potential application of satellite technologies.

Strategic Exchange on BeiDou and Satellite Technology Cooperation
During the summit, EURA facilitated a strategic meeting involving representatives from EURA, the Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA), and the China Aerospace Working Committee, bringing together 10 participants for discussions on potential areas of cooperation.
The meeting focused on the application and development of the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, satellite technologies and geospatial information solutions in Malaysia and the wider Southeast Asian market.
Discussions covered several key areas:
1. Exploring Potential Applications of BeiDou in Southeast Asia
Participants exchanged views on potential applications of BeiDou and satellite-based technologies across sectors including high-precision positioning, smart agriculture, transportation, logistics and other location-based applications.
The discussion also explored how satellite navigation and geospatial technologies could support future digital infrastructure and industry development in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
2. Strengthening EURA’s Role as a Technology and Market Bridge
During the meeting, Gary shared EURA’s vision of connecting advanced international satellite technologies with local market requirements and industry applications in Malaysia.
EURA highlighted its intention to work with technology partners, research institutions and relevant stakeholders to explore practical pathways for the localisation, testing and deployment of satellite-based technologies.
3. Exploring Future Areas of Cooperation
The participants also discussed potential areas for future collaboration, including technology exchange, joint project development, research cooperation and talent development.
The discussions provided a foundation for further engagement among the participating organisations and for the evaluation of potential projects in Malaysia and the broader Southeast Asian region.
4. Advancing International Satellite Technology Collaboration
EURA views its participation in the summit as an important step in strengthening its international network within the satellite and aerospace technology ecosystem.
Moving forward, EURA will continue to engage with technology partners, research institutions, industry stakeholders and relevant agencies to explore opportunities in BeiDou applications, high-precision positioning, satellite communications, remote sensing and geospatial technologies.
Through these initiatives, EURA aims to contribute to the development of practical satellite technology applications and strengthen collaboration between Malaysia, China and the wider international aerospace community.



EURA representatives benefited greatly from the BeiDou International Conference. A highlight of the trip was the trilateral professional talks arranged by EURA.
This conference fostered a high degree of strategic consensus among the three parties in key areas such as the deployment of the BeiDou system in ASEAN, smart logistics, and the transformation of space information technology, opening up new prospects for EURA’s future satellite project strategy.
This trip to Zhuzhou not only deepened mutual trust between EURA and the space management agencies of China and Malaysia, but also enabled the company to effectively seize the enormous commercial opportunities brought about by the globalization of BeiDou. Looking ahead, EURA will fully utilize the outcomes of this summit to accelerate the implementation of various tasks, empowering global economic development with cutting-edge aerospace technology.
